Jacques-Olivier Boudon is a professor of history at the Sorbonne University - Faculty of ArtsPresident of theNapoleon Institute and president of the Scientific Committee of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities. He is the author of some forty books on the Empire and the 19th century.
