DESTINATION NAPOLEON FRANCE

In 2022, the French Ministry of Culture granted the FECN financial support to strengthen Destination Napoleon's presence in France, through the production of specific communication and visibility material, prepared in strict collaboration with the French members.

GRITACCESS

Interreg Maritimo | 2018-2021 | France, Italy

The Grande Route Accessible Tyrrhénienne (GRITACCESS) is the result of collaboration between 15 partners from 5 regions in the Mediterranean area between France and Italy. Its aim is to promote the cultural heritage of this vast area through local itineraries.
By capitalising on information, the aim is to make the cultural heritage and identity of these areas accessible to all. Economic development will involve formalising a sustainable and cultural tourism offer, such as an application on Napoleonic heritage.

Napoctep

Interreg POCTEP | 2019-2022 | Spain, Portugal

NAPOCTEP aims to promote the heritage associated with the Peninsular War in central Portugal and the Castilla y León region of Spain. Through a sustainable tourism offer, it enhances the heritage linked to the Napoleonic invasions, thereby creating wealth and employment in the regions of Castilla y León and central Portugal, which are threatened by demographic change.

ouRoute puts students at the centre of the action to develop, test and implement their own strategies for identifying and presenting their local heritage, as well as learning about the culture of other European countries.

MED-Routes

Interreg Euro-MED | 2024-2026 | Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Croatia

EuroMED

Interreg Euro-MED is a European Territorial Cooperation Programme which aims to make the Mediterranean region "smarter", "greener" and to improve governance between its stakeholders. The project aims to create and disseminate a model of sustainable tourism on a local basis and with a low environmental impact through the Council of Europe's Cultural Routes in the Mediterranean region, directly involving local stakeholders and tourism and cultural operators in order to assess the existence of virtuous behaviour in terms of environmental impact, the use of circular economy tools and approaches and, in general, the level of attention paid to environmental protection and sustainability.
