Palazzo Reale in Milan: institutional meeting for membership of the FECN and Lombardy museums' technical table

On 1 December 2023, in the First Hall of the Tapestries at Palazzo Reale, an institutional meeting was held for the accession of Palazzo Reale, Milanin Italy European Federation of Napoleonic Citieswhich joined our European network at the beginning of 2024.

The meeting took place in the presence of Tommaso Sacchi, Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Milan, Charles Bonaparte, Founder and Honorary President of the FECN, Domenico Piraina, Director of Palazzo Reale and Central Director of the Espace Culture, Eleonora Berti, Director of the Federation, and Simone Percacciolo, Head of the Enhancement of Palazzo Reale.

In the afternoon, the Palazzo Reale hosted a working table reserved for representatives of Milanese and Lombard museums linked to Napoleonic heritage. The aim of the meeting was to initiate joint work to promote and pass on the heritage of the Napoleonic era, starting by defining the actions to be developed as a network, promoting initiatives, events and activities, encouraging the exchange of practices and synergies, including with other European museums linked to the Napoleonic era.
