The 12th Cultural Routes Training Academy will be held in Torres Vedras, Portugal, from 11 to 13 June 2025.
This edition is organised by theEuropean Institute of Cultural Routes (IEIC), the European Federation of Napoleonic Citiesthe network behind Destination Napoléon (a Council of Europe Cultural Route since 2015) and the European Federation Iter Vitisthe network responsible for the Iter Vitis itinerary (Council of Europe Cultural Route since 2009), in close collaboration with our Portuguese member Rota Historicá das Linhas de Torresand theAssociation of Portuguese Winegrowing Municipalities (AMPV)a member of Iter Vitis, and the Municipality of Torres Vedraslocated at the crossroads of the two Itinéraires.
The main theme of the Training Academy will be "Cooperation and cultural routes. The event will be held in English.
The sessions will be enriched by study visits and activities enabling participants to discover Torres Vedras and the other municipalities that are part of the Rota Historicá das Linhas de Torres and members of the Iter Vitis itinerary, experiencing initiatives and projects that are already in place.
Participation is limited to representatives of the 48 Council of Europe certified cultural routes. Each route can select up to 2 (two) representatives to attend the event.
