In 2024, our Destination Napoleon route continued its commitment as a Cultural Route certified by the Council of Europe. The year was marked by a number of initiatives aimed at raising the profile of the network and promoting Napoleonic heritage across Europe.

In 2024, Destination Napoleon's European Week ran from 5 to 12 May, coinciding with symbolic dates such as the anniversary of Napoleon's death (5 May) and Europe Day (9 May). This year's theme was Œno-Gastronomy, highlighting the links between Napoleonic culture and European culinary traditions. The week included a number of local events, notably in La Roche-sur-Yon, which celebrated its 220th anniversary with historical re-enactments and cultural events attracting almost 7,000 participants.
