The concert-conference "Entertainment and music. A family evening in Madame Moitte's salon" took place on Tuesday 22 August 2023 in the Santa Caterina cloister of the Real Collegio in Lucca, Italy.

The musical repertoire, rediscovered thanks to the diary of Madame Moitte, a member of the Parisian haute bourgeoisie, was performed by young graduates of the Passaglia music school in Lucca, accompanied by professional musicians.
In her diary, Madame Moitte describes how music played an important role in her family's life: music lessons, finding sheet music, repairing musical instruments and organising family concerts are often mentioned.
The event was organised by the town of Lucca and the association Napoleone e Elisa, da Parigi alla Toscanawith the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio of Lucca and in collaboration with the Napoleonic Remembrance.
