Vincent Chauvet, Mayor ofAutunCharles Bonaparte succeeds him as President of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities
Vincent Chauvet was elected President of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities at the General Assembly on 23 September 2022. He succeeds Charles Bonaparte, founder in 2004 of the Federation, which currently has 45 member cities in eleven European countries.
A former student of HEC and SciencesPo Paris, he also holds a degree in History from the University of Paris-IV Sorbonne, where he was a student of Jacques-Olivier Boudon, the current president of the Federation's scientific committee. He has been a member of the European Committee of the Regions since 2020, where he sits on the Culture Commission.
The General Assembly was also the occasion to elect the Executive Vice-President of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities, Ana Umbelino.
City Councillor of the City of Torres VedrasShe is also the head of the association "Historical Route of the Lines of Torres Vedras", a cultural and tourist circuit located 30 km north of Lisbon. She was elected at the General Assembly as Executive Vice-President of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities.
