2-3 June 2023 in Autun, France
The Annual General Meeting of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities 2023 took place on 2 and 3 June in Autun, France, hosted by Vincent Chauvet, the new President of the Federation and Mayor of the town.
The first day was devoted to the statutory meeting and the presentation of the projects and activities carried out by the FECN-Destination Napoleon and its members.
The second day was marked by a workshop led by Professor Alessia Mariotti from the University of Bologna, which gave participants the opportunity to discuss the creation of the network's tourism products.
La mairie a accueillie l’exposition “Napoleon in Playmobil” et la conférence du Professeur Jacques-Olivier Boudon, Président du comité scientifique de la FECN-Destination Napoleon, “Pie VII – Le pape qui a tenu tête à Napoléon”.
Les participants ont eu l’occasion de découvrir la ville et de visiter l’archive municipale d’Autun, qui consérve un exemplaire de la Description de l’Égypte et des lettres autographes de Joseph et Lucien Bonaparte.
