Le National Museum of the Châteaux of Malmaison and Bois-Préauin partnership with La Nouvelle Athènes, has organised a series of concerts on period instruments to highlight the importance of music in the lifestyle of Empress Josephine and Napoleon Bonaparte.
This first edition, devoted to the aesthetics of early French Romanticism and featuring a restored 1806 Erard square piano, includes a series of four Sunday lunchtime concerts, to be held on 10 September, 15 October, 19 November and 17 December 2023.
