
Preserved for two centuries in the archives of the Milan Conservatory, some of the music of the Kingdom of Italy was rediscovered between 2021 and 2023.
The concert, conducted by Stefano Nigro, will take place as part of the celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities, at the end of the meeting of the European Cultural Routes through France, co-organised by the French Ministry of Culture and the French Federation of European Cultural Routes.
Vincent Hadot's lecture “Eugène de Beauharnais, a life in music” will be given in the Salon d'Honneur of the Hôtel de Ville before the concert, at 5.30pm.
