La sostenibilidad en los paisajes culturales“ (Sustainability in cultural landscapes) conference
will take place on 15 and 16 December 2022 at the Sala Farinelli of the Teatro Real Carlos III in Aranjuez, Spain.
Organised by the “Alianza de paisajes culturales” (Cultural Landscapes Alliance), the conference will explore the theme of sustainability in landscapes and their development. Case studies presented by the various participating institutions will provide a better understanding of the issue of cultural landscapes and their sustainable development, with a particular focus on Aranjuez and the surrounding area.
Aranjuez, a member of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities, is at the forefront of the theme of the European Destination Napoleon Week 2023, which will focus on botany and green spaces in Napoleon's time.
