Limited Edition Acqua Fonte Napoleone

On the occasion of the bicentenary of the death of Napoleon Bonaparte, Acqua Fonte Napoleone and the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities are launching a limited edition with the Destination Napoleon commemorative emblem.

The Fonte di Napoleone owes its name to the visit of Napoleon Bonaparte on 27 August 1814 to the nearby village of Poggio on the island of Elba, where he had five of his soldiers install rudimentary stone seats near the mineral spring. Since 1947, the Fonte di Napoleone is bottled by Acqua Fonte Napoleone: like Giorgio de Chirico, you will probably have the opportunity to taste it during your next stay on the island.
